RELAX AND RECOVER AT THE ONE SPA CHICAGO
Touch is one of the primordial ways of communication between people. It is the first feeling that we develop even before we leave the uterus. A touch is an instinctive form of communication, which instantly transmits information and provokes a reaction
That is why massage is one of the oldest forms of treatment and health care. Massage therapy is part of a traditional holistic treatment system that originated about 5,000 years ago. It is believed that massage restores the body’s natural and physical balance so that it can heal naturally.
Massage therapy is great for preventing health problems and restoring psychophysical balance in the body. It regenerates vital body functions, relieves back pain, relaxes the whole body. Massage is very important for a healthy body, mind and spirit.

WHAT TO EXPECT
THERAPY OPTIONS
CUPPING
The history of medicine and therapy abounds with numerous effective treatments that have fallen into forgetfulness over time. One of them is cupping. Cupping therapy is an old-fashioned form of alternative medicine in which a therapist sets specific cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. It causes local pain relief and muscle relaxation.
People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. For athletes, cupping may help increase blood flow to a particular muscle region or help reduce pain.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
During the deep tissue massage, our therapist will apply slow, firm pressure to release muscle tension.
Our massage therapist will focus on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, fascia (this is a protective layer that surrounds muscles, bones and joint) and tendons.
