SPIDER VEINS TREATMENTS AT THE ONE SPA CHICAGO

Want to get rid of those awful spider veins? Wear a short skirt confidently and without worrying about spider veins. We bring you the solution!

Spider veins occur when tiny veins congregate below the surface of the skin, causing red, blue or purple discolorations. They may look like tree branches or spider webs; hence the name spider veins.

Spider veins are most common on the thighs, ankles and calves and are more common in women than men. They may be related to pregnancy, use of birth control pills or weight gain.

GET RID OF SPIDER VEINS

Dr. Elbaridi and his staff will guide you through the spider veins treatment process. We will provide you with detailed instructions on all aspects of the treatment and help guide your recovery.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Before sclerotherapy, it is important that you are as fit as possible to help the recovery process and that you do not apply any type of moisturizer, sun block or oil to your legs on the day of the procedure
  • Sclerotherapy treats spider veins by injecting a sclerosing solution into the vein. This causes the vein to collapse and fade from view
  • The procedure may also help with symptoms associated with spider veins such as aching, burning, swelling and night cramps
